Sponsors in Moment
give something back to your sponsors
Many festivals and community events run on sponsor funding — and the event app is one of the most visible places to return the favour. Here are four ways real events promote their sponsors in Moment, from subtle to front-and-centre. All of them use Moment's standard features, at no extra cost.
Option 1 — Branded venues
The Peak Festival at Perisher used images for each of their venues to promote the sponsor for that stage — the Canadian Club Stage, the El Jimador Stage, the 4 Pines Stage at Smiggins.
The branded venue image appears everywhere the venue does: in venue listings, on the live festival map, and as a larger view on the venue detail screen. Patrons see the sponsor's name every time they check what's on and where.
Option 2 — In-venue advertising
You can put your sponsor's logo and a link to their website inside a venue's description. At CresFest, the Creswick Havilah Lodge is "Proudly sponsored by Bendigo Bank" — logo in the venue image, link in the description.
This combines naturally with branded venues: add the sponsor's logo directly into the venue photo, then back it up with a clickable link in the venue detail screen.
Option 3 — Call-to-action links
The Off-Grid Living Festival added side-menu links to their sponsors, worded as strong call-to-action statements — "Get a Solar System", "Get Australian Made Batteries", "Buy All-Electric Outdoor Equipment".
Because the wording matches what patrons at that festival actually want, the sponsor links read as genuinely useful shortcuts rather than ads — a perfect match between the desires of the patrons and the products of the sponsors.
Option 4 — A sponsors page
You can also simply set up a page with images, info, and links for all of your partners — principal partners, government partners, business partners, media and community partners — and link it from the app's side menu.
And these are just the starting points
The four options above are simply the ways existing Moment events have chosen to promote their sponsors — they're not the only ways. If you have a really major sponsor, for example, their branding could sit in your banner image so it appears on most screens, or you could make a page dedicated to them the landing page, so their brand and message is the first thing patrons see when they enter your moment.
There are many options — talk to us if you have any questions about promoting your sponsors within your Moment.
Frequently asked questions
Can our event app promote our sponsors?
Yes — the four approaches above are all live in real Australian festivals today, and you can mix and match them freely.
Does sponsor activation cost extra?
No. Everything on this page uses Moment's standard features — venue images and descriptions, side-menu links, and custom pages — so there's no additional module or per-sponsor fee.
Can sponsors link out to their own website?
Yes. Venue-description links, side-menu call-to-action links, and sponsors-page links can all open the sponsor's own website, ticketing page, or offer directly from the app.
